Redesigned Multi-Layer Die for Precise Tubing
New Guill die can produce tubing from 1/1-6 in. OD for a range of applications.
Guill Tool & Engineering’s latest generation of its Series 800 is a two- to- six-layer extrusion die designed to produce the highest quality, highest material-efficient tubing in sizes ranging from 1/8 in. to 6 in. OD tubing. Applications include automotive, medical, appliance and industrial.
The redesigned Series 800 is said to produce flawlessly smooth extrusion and layer definition when running fluropolymers and other materials for all multi-layer, multi-lumen medical tubing, as well as fuel line constructions, multi-layer PEX pipe, and drip-irrigation applications, among others. The Guill design further allows thin layer combinations of polymers and adhesives to 0.02 mm or less.
