Vertellus Acquires Polyscope Polymers
The move expands the company European production capabilities and adds specialty SMA compounds to its portfolio.
Vertellus has acquired The Netherlands’ Polyscope Polymers B.V. (U.S. office in Novi, Mich.), a global leader in the development and production of SMA copolymers for applications ranging from automotive and electronics to specialty coatings and ink markets. (Indianapolis-based Vertellus is owned by Pritzker Private Capital and management.)
With its innovative technology and engineering capabilities, Polyscope is well-positioned to capitalize on growth in these expanding markets. Polyscope operates a state-of-the-art production facility strategically located in Geleen, The Netherlands, and serves as a key partner to more than 300 customers across over 35 countries.
Said Vertellus CEO John Van Hulle, “Polyscope adds a complementary portfolio of high-quality solutions, a track record of innovation and a world-class global platform in attractive end markets to Vertellus.
