A new one-component spray gun for PUR paints and coatings also can be used to apply two-component systems, simply by premixing the “A” and “B” sides before spraying. The model 2010 from Binks, div. of ITW Industrial Finishing, Glendale Heights, Ill., is said to be a rugged, full-size (23-oz) spray gun with stainless-steel fluid passages that are compatible with waterborne coatings. New “maximum delivery” air nozzles are said to provide better atomization with less material and air consumption. Binks also says easier trigger pull leads to reduced operator fatigue, and air adjustment at the gun with an included cheater valve saves operator time.
