Acrison’s lastest loss-in-weight feeder is the Model 405-BDF-1, which comes equipped with the supplier’s time-proven Model BDF-1 Metering Mechanism. This extremely versatile metering mechanism combines a flow-inducing dual auger/agitator mechanism with a centrally positioned metering auger that operates at proportional but dissimilar speeds to produce superior metering performance.
The robustly built Model 405-BDF-1 features a compact footprint measuring 22 × 32 in. along with a technologically advanced, highly durable dynamic weighing system that is permanently calibrated and adjustment-free.

Acrison’s Ratiometric Digital Weight Resolver instantaneously generates an unamplified, non-integrated, high resolution “real-time” weight signal (no signal lag) for use by one of Acrison’s various available multiprocessor controllers for precise feed rate control. The entire weighing system of the feeder is guaranteed, along with its associated electronics for five years.
Feed rates range from several pounds upwards to about 500 lb/hr. (based on product weighing 40 lb ft3, with continuous metering accuracies ranging between ± 0.25 to 1% or better (error) at two sigma, based on a given number of consecutive one minute sample weighments. Cost of ownership is said to be the lowest in the industry.
