B&P Beefs Up Process Lab
Expansion incorporates mixing technology resulting from Littleford Day purchase.
B&P Process Equipment recently completed a renovation of its processing lab in Saginaw, Mich. by adding space as well as equipment from Littleford Day, which B&P bought in June 2015.
The 16,000 ft² facility, which B&P calls its Technology Center, is now equipped with five jacketed plow mixers from Littleford ranging in size from 5 to 150 liters (1.3 to 430 gal). The largest unit, a KM150 continuous mixer, was converted from volumetric to gravimetric control, optimizing test results for customers.
B&P develops and manufactures compounding and mixing systems, vacuum drying systems, chemical extraction and separation equipment. Littleford Day, makes industrial mixers, dryers and reactors.
“We are extremely pleased with the changes in our Technology Center,” states Larry Slovin, president and CEO of B&P. “The space modifications and additional machines from Littleford continue our strong commitment to research and development to support our customers while expanding opportunities for future business.”
