Flexicon Doubles in Size
At 40 years old, bulk materials-handling equipment supplier builds out.
Flexicon Corp., Bethelehem, Pa., marked its 40th anniversary with completion of a 91,000-ft2 expansion that doubles the size of its U.S. headquarters. “With walls, roof, and floor now complete, and mechanical systems underway, we are on track to fully occupy the space by March of this year,” said president David Gill. The company supplies flexible-screw conveyors and pneumatic conveying systems for dry materials, bulk-bag fillers and unloaders, and container dumpers.
