Haidlmair Adds Canadian Subsidiary
Large Austrian moldmaker gains a manufacturing location in North America.
Austrian moldmaker Haidlmair has increased its presence in the North American market by purchasing a majority interest in Tesan Mould, Concord, Ont. It will be integrated into the Haidlmair Group and renamed Haidlmair North America. The Tesan family continues to own a significant percentage of the company and will continue to manage it, with Lucas Tesan as general manager.
Haidlmair already has a sales office, Haidlmair LLC, in Lake Geneva, Wis., and a second sales/service center in Phoenix, Ariz. Mario Haidlmair, CEO of the Haidlmair Group, notes that his company has been looking for a North American manufacturing facility for quite some time to serve its many customers here. Haidlmair Group will exhibit at NPE2015 this month in Orlando.
