The container has a built-in tapping and dispensing system and is said to be suitable for home use. Compared with the standard steel draught keg , the PET container is lighter, cost-competitive, resists damage during transport and handling, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions, says Italian stretch-blow molding machine supplier Siapi, which worked closely with Heineken to develop the keg.
