MATERIALS: Nexus to Distribute Chinese PET
San Francisco-based Pacific Rim Traders (PRT), the sales and service arm in the Americas for China’s Dragon Special Resin Co.’s PET resins, has chosen the Nexus Resin Group, Mystic, Conn., as its exclusive distributor.
San Francisco-based Pacific Rim Traders (PRT), the sales and service arm in the Americas for China’s Dragon Special Resin Co.’s PET resins, has chosen the Nexus Resin Group, Mystic, Conn., as its exclusive distributor. Since its 2006 formation, PRT has been serving primarily the Western third of North America, according to managing director Dale Behm. “Bringing on Nexus as a distributor will help us reach more customers throughout North and South America with our three grades of PET resin, including our water-bottle grade, CSD grade, and hot-fill grade.”
For Nexus, which distributes PE, PP, PS, and engineering resins, the agreement with PRT marks its entry into PET.
