WEB EXCLUSIVE Fibreglast Developments Corp., a supplier of resins, reinforcements, and additives for composites, has now introduced epoxy prepreg fabrics. Two of the company’s most popular fabrics are now available with a heat-cured epoxy suitable for vacuum bag/autoclave processing. One prepreg is based on Style 7781 E-Glass (8H satin weave, 9 oz/sq yd), specified for aerospace uses. The other prepreg uses 3K, 2x2 twill weave carbon-fiber fabric (5.7 oz), which offers strength plus good appearance.
