Meet the Voices Transforming Plastics: Top Podcasters Converge at NPE2024
All-new Podcast Point gives plastics and manufacturing podcasters a platform for broadcasting from NPE2024.
Live from the Orange County Convention Center’s West Hall Lobby, the crossroads of the show’s two halls, NPE2024 is hosting NPE Podcast Point. Designed to elevate an emerging broadcasting medium, the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) says this dedicated space gives podcasters a chance to broadcast the buzz, technologies and happenings of NPE live from the event. PLASTICS has collaborated with leading plastics and manufacturing related podcasts, including AM Radio, The Cool Parts Show, Impact Podcast with John Shegerian, Manufacturing Alliance Podcast, MMT Chats, PlastChicks, PMM Insight and Sustainable Packaging, for NPE-related podcasts before, during and after the show.
MoldMaking Technolgoy’s, Christina Fuges interviewing for MMT Chats
Plastics Technology sister publication and fellow Gardner Business Media magazine MoldMaking Technology will be utilizing Podcast Point during the show for two special editions of MMT Chats. MoldMaking Technology’s Editorial Director Christina Fuges is using Podcast Point to record MMT Chats with MMT’s 2024 Leadtime Leader winner. In addition, another NPE-recorded edition of MMT Chats will feature the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Mold Technology Division, and its at-the-show announcement of the winners of its annual Mold Builder, Mold Designer, Mold Repair Technician and Mold Apprentice of the Year awards.
New for NPE2024, PLASTICS says Podcast Point is designed to give podcasters an on-site location to create time-sensitive or evergreen content. Equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, microphones, headphones and more, Podcast Point comes fully equipped for podcasting, which is more and more pervasive in the media space. Market research eMarketer reports that as of 2024, North America will have the most podcast listeners in the world with 149.4 million, and the U.S. accounting for more than 135 million of that figure.
