A Caplugs spokesperson told Plastics Technology that the company has many current customers in Europe, and it has been working to grow its overall footprint, specifically manufacturing and warehousing capacity on the continent to better serve the market. “The acquisition of Polykap allows us to offer even more service, support and stocking options,” the spokesperson said, “while furthering our manufacturing capabilities in the region.”
The operations in San Marino join Caplugs’ existing European facilities in Belgium and the Netherlands, which operate as Caplugs Europe B.V.
