Colines Expands Reach in Stretch Film
Italian supplier of stretch film lines buys NO.EL Industrial Automation, which focuses on specialty systems for winding and stretching extruded film.
Extrusion machine builder Colines has purchased NO.EL, a leader in engineering and production of machines for the pre-stretched film production, coreless technology and machines dedicated to reels slitting. Both firms are based in Italy.
Colines makes film extrusion equipment for a variety of applications but is considered among the global leaders in multi-layer lines for cast stretch. NO.EL is a highly technology-oriented company; more than 50% of the company staff is involved in research and development activities.
Said Eraldo Peccetti, Executive President of Gruppo Colines Holding, “We are extremely glad about this acquisition and we are confident that the cooperation between the different members of our group can make the difference in the process of developing new and innovative solutions for an ever-evolving market.”
“This is definitely a new beginning for us,” adds Roberto Pellengo, technical manager of NO.EL; and Roberto Colombo, global sales manager. “We are sure that being part of such a prestigious and world-renowned group we will have the chance to keep our growth-path and strengthen our global presence. Our activity can be considered complementary to those carried-out by the other companies of the group and this will also give us the chance to mutually help each-other’s growth”.
The companies will be exhibiting together at October’s K 2022 show in Dusseldorf, Germany.
