Pressure Tester Checks Molds for Water Leaks
Globeius is offering the Mouldpro pressure tester for detecting water leaks within an injection mold’s cooling circuit.
Globeius Inc.’s Mouldpro pressure tester offers a portable, powerless means to quickly detect water leakage within a mold’s cooling circuits. Offering a manual means for testing, the pressure tester includes a built-in water tank, a connected hose and two valve handles to regulate pressure into and out of the system.
Globeius notes that the unit can test working pressures ranging from 0 to 870 psi and could be used for leak detection on other devices. The tester measures 190 by 530 by 305 mm (7.5 by 21 by 12"), with a tank volume of 12 L and water as a testing media. The output is a tapered ½" female BSPP (British standard pipe parallel) connection, and the maximum operating temperature is 50°C (122°F).
