Swap Out Hoppers on Beside-the-Press Size Granulators
Users can quickly swap out the infeed style as needed to optimize scrap reclaim.
Cumberland has added new FlexFeed hopper designs to its FX Series Beside-The-Press Granulators. The modular design allows processors to customize the hopper based on the varying application needs. Users can quickly swap out the infeed style as needed to optimize scrap reclaim. Extruders of pipe and tubing can take advantage of a side-feed hopper, making easy work in recycling long profiled plastics.
Regardless of the size of operation or type of manufacturing process, Cumberland notes that regrinding plastic components has the potential to generate substantial savings and transform materials into a functioning state. The FX Series offers a tailored solution to reclaim any lost material while promoting uptime. Increased accessibility to the cutting chamber allows for easier maintenance and accessibility for cleanout.
Cumberland will be participating at the Extrusion 2021 Conference, September 21-23, Rosemont, Ill.
