Elmet Opens North American HQ
Produces LSR injection molds and dosing systems.
Serving the fast-growing interest in LSR injection molding, Elmet Elastomere of Austria has established a North American headquarters in Lansing, Mich. Elmet produces LSR injection molds and dosing systems. The 6000-ft² facility is located between two silicone producers, Wacker and Dow Corning. In Lansing, Elmet will have its top-of-the-line TOP3000 LSR dosing system (pictured), which will be at NPE2012 in Orlando next month, as well as a TOP1000 dosing system, a 16-cavity, cold-runner LSR tool, and an Engel e-Victory LSR injection press of about 110 tons.
