I deal in words for a living, but it’s said that actions speak louder than words. So I can’t say much to add to these actions:

In April, family-owned plastics machinery company Arburg in Germany launched a company-wide fundraising effort to support a local Ukraine aid fund. The effort raised 50,000 euros in employee contributions, to which the company’s owners added 100,000 euros.

This month, Arburg’s owning partners donated an additional 400,000 euros to Doctors Without Borders and SOS Children’s Villages to aid their humanitarian and medical work in response to the war in Ukraine.

That’s 600,000 euros total, or about $627,600 at today’s exchange rate. From just one plastics machinery company.

Impressive.
