A3D Manufacturing Opens Phoenix Headquarters
On-demand manufacturer triples its capacity for advanced additive manufacturing and Multi Jet Fusion printing.
A3D Manufacturing, an on-demand manufacturer, opened its new headquarters in Phoenix. The company uses additive manufacturing — along with traditional processes such as injection molding, urethane casting and CNC machining — to produce plastic and metal parts for its customers. The new headquarters is expected to triple the company’s capacity for advanced additive manufacturing and Multi Jet Fusion printing.

“This expansion allows us to offer high-quality solutions for every stage of the product life cycle, from prototyping to full outsourced MaaS, supporting both additive and traditional manufacturing,” says Jon Toews, A3D Manufacturing senior vice president.
Formerly known as Athena Manufacturing, A3D provides services from development stages to large-scale production. According to A3D, the company has produced more than 200,000 parts for 2,300 customers in the past five years. The new facility in Phoenix is meant to accommodate a growing need for additive manufacturing and postproduction solutions.
