Netstal Names New Americas’ Region President
The Swiss maker of injection molding machines has named Nadeem Amin the new president for Netstal Americas.
Injection molding machine manufacturer Netstal, Näfels, Switzerland, has appointed Nadeem Amin as its new president for the Americas Region, effective June 1, 2024. He will report directly to Netstal CEO Renzo Davatz. Amin joins Netstal with more than 30 years of experience in plastics, including 25 years in various roles at Husky. Amin joined Sacmi USA in 2020 as VP PET Sales and Business Development.
In 2022, Netstal established a U.S. subsidiary for the Americas Region from the Netstal Technical Center located in Hebron, Kentucky. This technical center supports customers with sales, service and training. Amin and Netstal’s focus is on customers in the strategic application areas of PET preforms, beverage closures, thin-wall packaging and medical molding.
In a release, Davatz says Amin will work with Andreas Lehnhofer, who is responsible for service in the entire Americas region, to drive growth and support customers in this market. In February, Krones, the German maker of packaging machinery (including blow molding equipment) acquired Netstal from KraussMaffei.
