Colorants with Synthetic Leather Look for HDPE Blow Molded Packaging
Ampacet’s Synthetic Leather color palette projects luxury look of leather.
A rich, luxurious palette of colorants for blow molded packaging that honors the centuries-old tradition of leather processing has been launched by Ampacet. The Synthetic Leather Collection is specifically recommended for use with multi-layer HDPE extrusion blowmolding and is ideal for packaging applications within all markets.
Ampacet’s Synthetic Leather Collection color palette includes the deep, tonal values of strength found in Canela Ilusión, Azul Medianoche and Negro Mágico; to the luxurious qualities emanating from Gamua Bronceada, Calabaza Naranja and Coñac Andino.
Leather embodies nature, textures, and colors that connect man with his origins. The material is an important part of Argentina´s culture, as it was one of the first exports to Europe by a tannery founded in Argentina in 1790. Said Ampacet director of global insight and innovation Linda Carroll, “From leather jackets to shoes, leather has secured its place as a fixture in the fashion industry. Synthetic leather negates the current processing issues associated with natural leathers. Our Synthetic Leather Collection projects the luxury look of leather while offering an innovative packaging solution.”
