Fakuma 2023: Coperion and Herbold Meckesheim to Showcase Joint Recycling Offerings
Virtual PET recycling plant will introduce comprehensive solutions.
Herbold Meckesheim and Coperion, merged by Hillenbrand’s 2022 acquisition of Herbold Meckesheim, will showcase their individual and joint recycling offerings at Fakuma 2023, taking place Oct. 17-23 in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
A virtual PET recycling plant has been created by the two companies and will be on display. The virtual plant represents one of the complete recycling solutions that Coperion and Herbold Meckesheim are making available from a single source, integrating mechanical processing from size reduction to compounding and pelletizing. Booth visitors will be able to look directly into all process steps and view the construction and functionality of key technologies.

Herbold Meckesheim will also display rotors from its granulators in various sizes for various applications, highlighting the unique cutting geometries for efficient operation.
Coperion will also show its ProRate Plus-S gravimetric feeder for compounding, as well as applications for its ZSK and STS twin screw extruders.
