High-Performance Resealable Lidding BOPET Film
Terphane’s Resealphane is the company’s latest innovation within its Selaphane product line.
A high-performance resealable bioriented polyester (BOPET) lidding film structure has been launched by Terphane (U.S. office in Bloomfield, N.Y.) The Resealphane is the latest innovation within the company’s Sealphane line of heat-sealable films.
It is said Resealphane can be opened and reclosed multiple times, is tamper evident, guarantees the complete opening of the packaging and is more sustainable. Moreover, it can be easily processed and integrated into existing packaging lines. Resealphane films can also be supplied with postconsumer recycled (PCR) content, as part of Terphane's sustainable Ecophane film line, which is FDA approved for food contact.
Since its founding in 1976, Terphane has developed technologies and processes to produce specialty BOPET. With experience and technical knowledge in film production, coating and metallization, the company is recognized for its vertical integration, from resin to specialty films.
