Servo-Hydraulic Machine Range Adds Multicomponent Models
Absolute Haitian says the Mars and Jupiter Lines will now offer multicomponent models, complementing the 2K all-electric Zhafir.
Absolute Haitian, the exclusive distributor of Haitian injection molding machines in the U.S. and Canada, has added multicomponent models to its servo-hydraulic Mars and 2-platen Jupiter machine series, which together range in clamp force from 135 to 2079 tons. These new hybrid Haitian Multi product lines—MA III Multi and JU III Multi—complement the Zhafir electric multi-component molding machines introduced in 2021.
All of Haitian’s multi-material machines build upon the company’s previous generation of 2K presses—the Iapetus Series—although Absolute Haitian notes that the MA III Multi and JU III Multi are more efficient and offer more configurations than the Iapetus. The new MA III Multi and JU III Multi machines are managed by the latest KEBA controls, easing integration into upstream and downstream automation and production processes. Haitian’s Connectivity Plus supports communication with peripherals and automation, as well as integration into MES systems.
Configurations for the auxiliary injection unit include Horizontal “L” orientation, as well as vertical, parallel and piggyback. The MA III Multi available is available from 135 to 596 tons, while the JU III Multi ranges from 843 to 2079 tons. The second injection unit can be switched off or removed, reverting the machine to single-shot operations, and Absolute Haitian says generous tiebar spacing and a robust rotary table can accommodate large molds.
